Ever wanted to have your Remote Desktop session try to reconnect more than the default 20 times, when there is a network failure?
This is the way to do it. It cannot be changed with the normal MSTSC (Remote Desktop) options dialog, but the .rdp-file can be opened in a text editor and this line can be appended:
autoreconnect max retries:i:100
Max retries value is 200, otherwise you will get an error message:
“Your computer was unable to connect to the remote computer.
Try to reconnect. If the problem continues, contact the owner of the remote computer or your network administrator”
